Jakarta – Innalilahi Wainnalilahi Rojiun” Gerindra Party politician Desmond Junaidi Mahesa has died. Before he died, he was treated at the Mayapada Hospital, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. This was conveyed by the Daily Chairperson of the DPP Gerindra Party Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who is currently still in Mecca to perform the pilgrimage. Dasco gets word from Desmond’s wife. “Indeed, Desmond has been in Mayapada Hospital since yesterday. And today at four in the morning he died. I happened to be in Mecca, got a call from his wife informing him of this sad news,” said Dasco, Saturday (24/6/2023). Gerindra Legislator Desmond J Mahesa Dies This sad news was also confirmed by Gerindra Party Deputy Chairperson Habiburokhman. Desmond’s body will be taken to the funeral home, Pasar Minggu area, South Jakarta. It is known that Desmond was an activist in 1998 who later became a politician from the Gerindra party. Judging from the DPR’s official website, Desmond was born in Banjarmasin on December 12, 1965. Currently, Desmond is Deputy Chair of Commission III of the DPR RI. He was elected as a member of the Republic of Indonesia DPR for the 2019/2024 period as a representative from the Banten II Electoral District (Dapil).
